About the the NeckCare System™ 

Overview - NeckCare System™ Device and Platform.

The NeckCare System consists of two components: the NeckCare Device and the NeckCare Platform.

Device: The headgear with Bluetooth-enabled sensor (Model NS-110X2). The device connects with the NeckCare Platform to measure and analyze head motion.

Platform: A web-based software that hosts tests and exercises for the assessment and training of the cervical spine. Access the platform at app.neckcare.com.

How It Works

The patient wears the NeckCare™ Device on their head and performs assessments or exercises under the supervision and guidance of a trained healthcare professional. The patient's motion data output is transmitted to the software, which displays the performance in real time on a computer screen. The software then analyzes the data and generates personalized performance reports. This data is stored in a cloud-based database.

Intended Use and Users

The NeckCare System™ is intended to measure, record, analyze, and report head motion during instructed head-neck movements.

The intended users of the NeckCare System™ are trained healthcare clinicians providing rehabilitation services, such as physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and physicians.

The end user is a patient receiving rehabilitation services by a trained healthcare clinician.

Indications for Use

Individuals that may benefit from assessing and exercising neck function.

Contraindications

Any condition that requires motion restriction of the neck.
