Charging the NeckCare Sensor is a quick and easy process, here's a quick guide and some useful charging info
Step 1: Insert the USB charger cable into the charging port on the NeckCare™ sensor
Insert the larger end of the charger cable into a computer/laptop USB port or a charging adapter* that may be plugged into an electrical outlet. The device can be charged whether it is ON or OFF.
Step 2: Remove charger
Remove the charger cable from the charging port when fully charged. It takes approximately 2 hours to charge the sensor from 0% to 100%. Don't worry! It is not possible to overcharge the device.
NOTE: If the indicator light turns red and flashes 8 times per second during charging the battery may be overheating. If so stop using/charging the device and contact support@neckcare.com.
More charging information
- The sensor battery lasts six hours of continuous use, to preserve battery life, turn off sensor between uses.
- If the battery level is below 10%, recharge the sensor before attempting additional assessments.
💡If you're a researcher or an academic facility: charge the sensor to 90% or higher regularly, at least once every three months.
