How to assess if recalibration is needed

Check whether your NeckCare sensor requires advanced calibration by reviewing magnetic field data in the Movella DOT app.

 

Calibration Check

Assess whether your NeckCare sensor needs advanced calibration. Over time, the sensor may be exposed to varying magnetic fields, leading to declining accuracy.

Procedure

  1. Connect sensor via Movella DOT App
  2. Go to Measure & Collect > Real-time Streaming (Live mode)
  3. Select Custom modes > Custom mode 2 > Apply
  4. Observe the Magnetic Field graph (white line = magnetic norm)

 

Calibration NOT Required:

If magnetic norm equals 1 and fluctuations are within ±0.2, the sensor is optimally calibrated.

Calibration IS Required:

If fluctuations are larger than ±0.2, perform advanced calibration.
