# Symbols and Labels

## This section explains the symbols and labels used on NeckCare™ products and packaging. It helps users quickly understand device identification, safety markings, and protection ratings.

The following symbols appear on NeckCare product labels and packaging.

| **Symbol** | **Definition** |
| --- | --- |
| Manufacturer | Indicates the manufacturer |
| BF | IEC 60601-1 Type BF applied part |
| Battery disposal | Separate collection for batteries |
| DC | Direct current |
| CE mark | European conformity |
| MD | Medical device |
| IP22, IP68 | Ingress protection rating |
| Manual symbol | Refer to instruction manual |
| UDI | Unique device identifier |
| LOT | Batch/lot code |
| SN | Serial number |
| Humidity/Temperature | Operating limits |

### **IP Ratings**

IP22: Protected against objects >12.5mm, splashproof

IP68: Dust tight, watertight (submersion protected)
